Language

The most noticeable difference of this place is the language, Banyumasan dialect, or "ngapak" so they call it. I did expect that it would be a little different when I was about to live here but the real language, when they actually spoke it, is much more intense than I initially imagined. It's much faster and louder compared Yogyakartan dialect. I wonder if I'll be able to speak the dialect, but

Purwokerto

Purwokerto is one of the main city in Java Island, not too big but not too small either. The first impression when I got there was "this city is old".  Compared to Yogyakarta, this city is still developing, not too many high building around here. The weather is still fresh and rather cold compared to my hometown. Some say that this is a city of heros, I suppose it must be related to General
